As part of the GreenPACEDA100 Debates on the Environment project, we sponsored a debate on the environment here in Etobicoke – Lakeshore.. Thanks to all for your help in making this a big success,  which hopefully helped you decide on how you would vote.

Some interesting statistics from the 100 Debates effort: 

• 70 Debates were held across Canada
• 217 candidates participated.
• 49 were incumbent MPs
• 64 were NDP
• 58 were Green
• 58 were Liberal
• 18 were Conservative

One is tempted to conclude that the conservative candidates were reluctant to engage on this topic
