Mission Summary

The Communications and Outreach group exists to support the ECA mission by building a groundswell of understanding of the climate crisis and the urgency of taking action in the community..

Some of the tools we use to achieve this are:

• Engaging with the public through community events
• Seeking out and developing partnerships with kindred groups, associations and government initiatives
• Drafting and disseminating information related to the climate crisis
• Drafting and publishing media and social media communications, deputations, and letters to the editor
• Working with the Advocacy group to ensure clear, consistent, and impactful messaging
